Bowling Assault Leaves Tournament in Doubt

MILWAUKEE, WI - The PBA suspended last weekend's Milwaukee Open after a violent confrontation between tour veterans, Bill Bull and Jed Dingel. The two were involved in a violent turned ugly confrontation last weekend in the Milwaukee "Bowler Heaven" 24 hour facility.

Bull accused Dengel of filling up his thumb hole with glue. As Bull rolled his first ball, his thumb stuck to the ball, careening him down the lane for a 3-9 split. Furious after being swept away by the pin reset machine and returned through the ball chute, Bull hit Dingel over the head with the attached thumb in ball. Dingel sustained major brain trauma and is currently on life support.

One spectator commented, "It was just like a Bugs Bunny cartoon except for the real blood." The PBA announced a spike in the TV ratings. PBA commissioner, Dick Allen said, "You know with the hockey strike, the PBA might be able to fill the fan thirst for blood sport. Don't worry about Jed Dingel, he's got long term disability."
