Kellen Winslow, Jr to Follow in Evil Knievel's
Footsteps SAN DIEGO, CA - Cleveland Browns tight end and last year's first round draft pick Kellen Winslow, Jr. announced that he is forgoing a career in the NFL to pursue a career in death defiance. Artie DeAngelo, a spokesman for the Cleveland Browns expressed disappointment, "We're sorry he's moving in that direction, but hope he will be happy with his new career." "I'm pissed," said father Kellen Winslow, widely considered to be the greatest tight end to play the game. "I have no son." Winslow, Jr. was seriously hurt while practicing to jump the Grand Canyon on an ATV. Despite his torn knee ligaments and punctured lung, Winslow, Jr. claims he will meet his target date of March 2006 for the jump.
