Motorcross Looks to Boost TV Ratings TALLAHASSEE, FL - Among the least popular of the motor sports, motocross is looking to capitalize on America's ever increasing blood lust to boost their ratings. "We're going to use the racers who don't do well as human speed bumps," said Motocross International President Sal Menedez. "It will be more exciting for fans, more challenging for racers and a real incentive to continue to win." "It really hurts," said ex-motocross champion Myron Seger. "I lost 3 fingers and had 6 ribs cracked. I don't even want to tell you where they found my foot." Seger was relegated to speed bump status after 4 consecutive sub-10 finishes. "What happened to Myron is indicative of what we're trying to make happen," said Menendez. "He was a champion who turned south...so thump, thump if you know what I mean."
