KEITH VAN HORN OUT OF PLAYOFFS DUE TO HAIRCUT ACCIDENT DALLAS, TX - Keith Van Horn, the perennial bad boy of the Dallas Mavericks, will miss the rest of the 2005 playoffs due to a haircutting accident in his suburban Dallas apartment. Van Horn, who admittedly likes to experiment with a razor, was styling his own hair along with teammate Shawn Bradley, when the accident occurred. Bradley explained, "Keith is just obsessed with getting that little patch on top, just right. He was making his final pass with the razor when his cell phone went off and just like that he put out his left eye." Doctors fear that Van Horn may have to face the worse yet. He completely shaved off little patch of hair he had and there is speculation that it will not grow back. Dr. Morris Katz said, "It looks bad for Keith. It looked bad before but now it looks really bad. Bald with one eye is not a good look in anyone's book." Van Horn, who is on suicide watch and heavily sedated, wants to come back for the next round despite the injury. Maverick owner, Mark Cuban, said Van Horn on drugs is no different than Van Horn not on drugs."
