NORTH KOREA'S KIM JONG IL WANTS TO PLAY BALL North Korea's strongman, dictator, and general planetary menace, Kim Jong il has offered to host soccer's World Cup. In an impromptu press conference, Kim Jong said, "Hey we're just a bunch of regular Korean guys getting a bad rap. So we've got some nuclear weapons, we still like sports and just want to have a little fun." In a new tourist initiative designed to draw foreign capital, Kim wants to host the World Cup as the cornerstone of his "North Korea, We're Good Guys" campaign. He added, "We've got swell beaches, good looking babes, and great exchange rate so what are you waiting for? Come, see North Korea." Defense minister General Yu In Park let reporters know, "We'll turn off the reactors for a few weeks, slow down bomb production and just play soccer."
