Chicago, IL - Television host Pat O'Brien called the Illini locker room at halftime of their regional final game against Arizona according to inside sources.

The message was a little bizarre, but we understood," said a locker room insider.  "He basically said that the team was (deleted) hot over and over again.  Then he was going to make dinner for us, or have us for dinner.  Something about getting something to eat.  He also mentioned his gal a few times.  I think she plays basketball because he mentioned something about her being a 2 way player."

Pat O'Brien would not confirm making the calls, offering only, "Just smile at me if you're into it.  Come on, baby..."

Currently in rehab for drugs and alcohol, O'Brien denied making the alleged calls
