Kid’s Korner with Al Krumlish
Hi Al,
I'm starting high school in the fall and I'm considering going out for a varsity
team. I have no real athletic ability, but my friends tell me that varsity
athletes get laid. Is this true? Which sport would be best? Please keep in
mind I suck at everything.

Dear Horny Rob,
I get this question a lot. First, let's dispense of the tired old, myth
that varsity athletes get laid. In reality, very few of them ever see a woman
naked. Let's analyze this critically. Did you ever see David Wells, Randy
Johnson? Both varsity athletes in high school. Come on, do you think they're
home getting laid while you're home watching Green Acres re-run on TV Land? No
way, Robbo! If you want to see some guys getting some hoochie cooo, check out
the stage crew guys. When the lights go out during set changes, these guys are
role models for the rest of us. So show up to the drama club with a hammer in
your hand, and I guarantee you'll be booking chorus girls like a four star
hotel.
