Bronco Cheerleader's Dinner Wish Granted DENVER, CO - Denver Bronco Cheerleader Candice Jones learned a lesson about being careful what to wish for - because wishes sometimes come true. Candice stated on her web bio that if she could have dinner with anyone, it would be Jesus Christ and her deceased grandfather. Well, divine fate intervened and granted her that wish. "I was so excited to have this opportunity," said Jones at a post dinner press conference. "I thought, 'Wow, my wish is coming true!'. But not so fast Candice. She forgot 2 very important items. First, her grandfather passed away nearly 21 years ago and would not be very animated, or even fleshy at a dinner table. Second, although Jesus is certainly alive, he hardly looks, acts, speaks, or for that matter grooms in a manner that Candice is used to. "Ok, my grandfather kinda creeped me out. But, like, I understood he was dead and all. I guess I misunderstood the rules. I thought it would be like he was still alive or something. Jesus was another story. I was like, flipping out to see him, but he looked all dirty and stuff. I knew he wore sandals all the time and stuff, but his feet were jet black. Didn't he used to bathe feet? I guess not his own." Jones continued her recount of the dinner. "Jesus was a lot hairier than I expected. And his skin was darker, too. Not that that's a problem for me. I dated a Puerto Rican in college. But there was also an odor, like I think he needed a shower." "I was willing to overlook all of that and have an awesome conversation about life and stuff. But he spoke this weird language. I really couldn't understand a word he said. I was really disappointed." On top of the lack of communication, Jesus had no cash or credit cards, so Jones footed the bill. "My grandfather didn't each much. I just ordered him a salad. But Jesus kept eating. He even went to other tables and took some food. He did save me a little money - I only had to order water and he did the rest." After dinner, Jesus followed Jones out to her Ford F150 pickup truck. "We are just friends. I wanted to show him the kicking cd system in my truck. That's why we were out there. Besides, I've said all my life that I love Jesus and no matter what I wasn't going back on that. But I'm pretty sure I'm getting in to heaven now." Jesus was unavailable for comment. Jones' grandfather was returned to his burial spot.
