For when you must scratch that Sports Itch

My husband still talks about it.  There was almost no time left and some guy from Duke threw the ball the length of the court, so white guy caught the ball and scored just as time expired.  It might have even been overtime.  He calls it the greatest game he ever saw. 

My sisters were visiting, so I didn't see any of the game.  But he kept calling me into the living room so I could see the boobs on the girls in the Bud Light commercials.  Of course my sisters think he's a pig.

Not that I don't already have enough to feel badly about.  I'm not getting any younger and I know I don't look like I did when I was 19, but the boy at Winn Dixie who works at the deli counter was flirting with me the other day.  I mostly stay with my husband now because of the kids.

So if Duke and Kentucky play again, I'm sure all those bad memories will come rushing bad to me and all the great memories will come back to him.  I hope he goes blind so he can't see it.
