SWIMMER BREAKS RECORD CROSSING BAY TO SEE KOURNIKOVA

FLORIDA CITY, FL - Coast Guard Choppers and patrol boats swarmed swimmer, William Lepeska, and lifted him out of Biscayne Bay. Lepeska, seemingly obsessed with Russian tennis star, Ann Kournikova, was swimming nude across the Bay bound for Kournikova's home.

Lepeska, earlier this year, had tried to swim the English Channel but got bad cramps about 50 yards from shore. "I thought I had a chance of making across the Bay until the Coast Guard swooped down on me," said a breathless Lepeska afterwards. He added, "I had an image of Anna playing tennis without a bra and somehow this kept the cramps away."

Local law enforcement fears the Bay may become crowded with sexually aroused swimmers. The Coast Guard is beefing up patrols. "Power boating and swimmers with erections could cause major problems for us so we're ready for whatever comes our way," said Coast Guard captain, Russ Femor.

Witnesses watching Lepeska's swim thought it was just a casual swimmer with one of those pool "noodles" between his legs. Only after Lepeska was lifted from the Bay was the true picture revealed.
