Mighty Ducks of Anaheim Sold to Rich Idiot ANAHEIM, CA - Walt Disney Company sold the Anaheim Ducks to millionaire Henry Sumueli, and his wife, Susan for an estimated 650 million dollars. Disney spokesperson, Al Geiger, was very happy with the terms of the deal and surprised that Sumueli had no idea the season was cancelled. Gieger commented, "It was like shooting fish in a barrel, talk about stupid...it was like negotiating with a Disney character." Sumueli, smiling from ear to ear, said he loves Manchester United and hopes the Ducks can copy their style of play. When told he bought a hockey team, not a soccer team, and that the NHL season was cancelled, Sumueli commented, "Oh well, it was only 650 million. Maybe we can have Manchester United come over anyway. We'll do something fun." Sumueli's wife, a former Playmate of the Year, added "I've never slept with Hugh Heffner, we're just good friends."
