TRANSEXUAL WINS MEDAL IN WORLD GAMES Several weeks ago, Madeline Tripp was struggling to make the U.S. National Gymnastics Team. Last weekend in Munich, Germany Madeline, now Matt Tripp, scored a perfect 10 in the floor vault to take the gold medal. After the competition Tripp commented, "I've always wanted to be a man and I was so much more myself out there in khaki pants and a golf shirt. I really relaxed and had the best floor performance ever." Tripp added that she hated tights where his butt stuck out and "you could see my cellulite." Teammates embraced the change and were very happy to welcome the new Matt Tripp to the team. Cheryl Luppino, who won the bronze in the uneven bars, said, "I ran up and hugged Matt and received a nasty beard burn on my face but other than that it was very exciting."
