VIRGIN MARY APPEARS TO BASEBALL MOM

In what the Vatican is describing as the appearance of "Our Lady of the Diamond," the Virgin Mary spoke directly to little league mom in Jupiter, Florida.

Witnesses said that Bernadette Flavin looked joyous and peaceful as the Virgin Mary spoke to her and tossed her a few pitches. Later the rejoicing Flavin spoke to reporters about the visitation. Flavin described the surprise by saying, "One minute I was cheering my little Tommy and the next minute I feel this tapping on my shoulder. When I looked up, I saw this radiant vision who then asked me if I wanted to play catch."

Flavin said that Mary is a big fan of little league baseball but thinks "fat, overweight, loud mouthed parents are ruining the game." Mary asked Flavin if she would always intentionally walk the batter with first base open. Flavin responded it depended on the on-base percentage of the batter.

Immediately after the vision, Flavin was flown to Rome to be measured for sainthood clothes.
