Koren Robinson Draft #1 Overall at Vegas Invitational
Celebrity Death Pool
LAS VEGAS, NV - The first annual Celebrity Death Pool got
off to an exciting start as celebrity names flew off the draftboard in the
opening rounds.
Former Seattle Seahawks receiver Koren Robinson was
drafted 1st over all by Ted Havin of Sacramento, California.
"I was thrilled to have the first overall pick, and I know
it will pay off. Robinson is a mess!" Havin said when asked about
his first pick.
He is referring to the fact that Robinson, released from
the Seahawks for drinking, was later arrested for drunk driving and ordered to
stop all alcohol consumption. A few weeks later he was pulled over for
drunk driving again, a violation of his probation. He was ordered to
return to jail, and showed up to jail drunk. "This guy wakes up in the
morning and is looking for booze!" said an excited Havin. "I don't see how he'll
live another few months at this rate. I just need him out of jail."
Kirk Douglas, expected to be the number 1 pick, slid to
#2. "I'm very happy to have gotten the 90 year old actor", said Bill
Wegman of Duluth, Minnesota. He probably should have been picked first,
but I'm not complaining.
The 15 team league drafted 8 rounds of celebrities.
The first who has a celebrity who passes away, win the Invitational.
