WASHINGTON, DC - The Northwestern Girls Lacrosse
Team created a mini controversy when they arrived at the white house to
meet with President George Bush.

They had been invited to be congratulated on winning the Women's
Lacrosse National Championship. However, in a group picture, it was
readily noted that 4 of the 9 girls in the front row were dressed in flip
flops, an extremely casual look for such an important meeting. Just
as the girls' parents were reeling with embarrassment, things got worse.
"We have it on good information that 4 of the girls were not wearing
bras...7 of them not wearing panties," said White House chief of security
Matthew Levens. This was discovered during a routine cavity search
for all persons expecting to meet the president.
While parents of the girls were openly embarrassed by the selection of
shoes, those who would comment were outright mortified by the girls
behavior. Junior Stacy Mangro defended her teammates, although she
claims to have been among those not going commando. "The girls in
flip flops had studs on their flip flops, so that makes it ok. And
the girls without underwear have policies of never wearing any."
The president could not be reached for comment, although White House
press secretary Arnold Chavin says the president will looks into the
girls' choice of undergarments.
While Levens claims the president was never in immediate danger, "...he
was not the only vulnerable Bush in the oval office that day..."
