RAPPER CLAIMS NCAA BASKETBALL PLAYERS ARE "RIPPIN ME OFF!" Rapper E-40 (aka. Earl Stevens) claims NCAA basketball players are ripping him off and he wants compensation. The recent "jersey plucking" that players exhibit after a basket was originated by E-40 in his rap video, "Cap That M%#*#*F#*^in Mother In Law." E-40's attorney, Shecky Sheck is suing the NCAA for copyright infringement. "We want monetary compensation every time a player plucks his jersey," Sheck said from his office in Los Angeles." The suit has caused several other artists to come forward with similar complaints. Rapper Snoozie Alarm said he was the first rapper to popularize "scratching my nuts" while waiting to be substituted." "You see all these m%^$(# f& *^ers pickin their balls at the scorer's table...who you think came up with that?" Other rappers have taken credit for ball scratching setting off a dangerous undertone in the rap community. One observer commented, "This ball scratchin thing gonna get ugly...people gonna be hurt." Economists interviewed predicted royalties in the billions if players have to pay to adjust their testicles during a game. NCAA President Myles Brand said, "We're going to have to look at March Madness and just instruct the players to no plucking or picking."
