POPE BENEDICT COACHED FOOTBALL

In a surprise revelation, Pope Benedict announced that in his younger days he coached football. Before joining the priesthood, Benedict was known as Woody Hayes and coached the Ohio State Buckeyes to a National Championship.

After an incident where Hayes lost his temper and hit a player, he retired, went underground and became a priest. Later Hayes resurfaced at the Vatican as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, where he was eventually elected to Pope.

"I'm gonna run the Church like I ran the Buckeyes," Benedict revealed in his first sermon. "We're playing by the book and we're ready to take on any world religion who wants to step on the field with us."
