AUSTIN PEAY UNIVERSITY TO CHANGE IT'S NAME CLARKSVILLE, TN - Austin Peay University's Board of Trustees voted earlier to change the name of Austin Peay University to Dry Pants University. Bob Dougly, trustee explained, "It's just been to damn embarrassing having everyone call you Pee or Piss U. or Urine School even though it's Austin PEE AAA not Austin PEEEE." Other schools have faced similar image problems and have taken similar measures. Beaver U , Coe Tech, and Mammary State have all undergone recent face lifts to avoid public relations problems. Dougly added that before the internet, no one took notice but now with elaborate search engines, it's important to have a decent name. "You don't have to be Einstein to see what typing some of these words can do to recruiting efforts," said Dougly.
