Mickelson and Signh Slug it Out at the Masters AUGUSTA, GA -"His spikes were an eighth of an inch too long and it costs me the Master's." This was the first firing salvo by Vijay Singh after he shot a final round 74 to finish ten shots behind Tiger Woods for the green jacket at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Mickelson unknowingly bought a pair of used golf shoes on ebay without measuring the spike length. The longer spikes made bumps in the green forcing Singh to miss 45 crucial putts throughout the tournament. Singh seething with anger exclaimed, "I don't buy the bullsh!t ebay story. He knew those spikes would screw me." The two seemingly mild, mannered golfers came to blows in the clubhouse shower following the final round. Mickelson explained, "I was standing at the mirror with just a towel around me when Vijay dumped a whole container of talcum powder on my head." Witnesses said the two golfers both lost their towels during the scuffle and wrestled nude on the shower floor. Exhausted, spent, scratched and clawed, the two players finally passed out in exhaustion. Nick, the clubhouse shower attendant said, "Actually it was more exciting than watching golf on TV. I think the PGA should seriously consider marketing mild mannered golfers wrestling nude in shower rooms."
