Marv Albert Questioned in Hotel Incident

DENVER, CO - Sportscaster Marv Albert is back in the news. While covering this weekend's NBA All-Star game in Denver, Albert was involved in what police are only calling, an "incident" with a four-year old schnauzer. The schnauzer, "Prince," owned by Mr. and Mrs. Roger Blattsbergh, approached Albert in what witnesses described as a non-threatening way in the lobby of the Wyndam Hotel.

"The dog was just sort of sniffing Albert's leg a bit," explained desk clerk, Pete Snodgrass. Seemingly unprovoked, Albert bit the dog in the back causing the animal to yelp in pain. The dog's owners were stunned and immediately called police.

Albert claimed the dog came onto him and it was just a playful, affectionate bite. "Hey, I was just showing the pooch I liked him, " Albert claimed.

No formal charges have been filed and there was no comment forthcoming from NBC.
